A lovely, zingy wine, precise sauvignon fruit and lively acidity crisp and refreshing,. It is a strong rival from Sancerre.

15. Chablis Domaine des Valery. 2004 - £22.95
France: Classical Burgundian Chardonnay; dry and steely, with finesse.

16. Viognier; Des freres Couillaud, Loire - £20.95
France: A wonderful example of this old traditional grape. An ingredient in the ‘big’ red wines. On its own this wine is deep and full of lengthy tastes. Exquisite.

17. Roero Arneis Sarni; Taliano - £24.50
Italy. With a nose of autumnal forest leading to a palate of fruits and truffle!! A very interesting find.

18. Pouilly Fume, Jean Pabiot. 2005 - £24.95
Produced from the sauvignon grape, this is a dry, almost smokey wine of a great character.

This wine oozes sophistication and black cherry flavours, with a hint of vanilla and winter spices.

With its 3 grape blend this Spanish wine is firm,fruity and very well balanced.
